A very Merry Christmas

24 Dec

Well for those of you who were hoping that the Mayan Prophesy would save them from getting any Christmas presents… I hope you had a Plan B! 😛

Keep calm and merry on

To all of you out there, I wish you a Very Merry Christmas for you and your loved ones.

I leave you with my favourite Christmas song. While not the typical kind, I always liked it:

    Merry Xmas Burkhard.
Do you like the song because of the swearing?

      Thank you Robin!

It has nothing to do with the swearing. I guess it is rather the fact that it lacks the usual Christmas whitewash, but still shows a certain level of affection.

That’s just about my all-time favourite Christmas song, too!

    Burkhard:

Happy Holidays to you and yours! Now that the Mayan Calendar thing failed – we’ll have to resume work and paying bills again. Warm Regards, Dean

Thank you, Dean! Oh yes… Just wish I had not bought all that stuff on my credit card hoping that the world would end before I had to pay my bills! Just kidding! 😉

Merry Christmas Burkhard. Do you get to have a white Christmas?

And a nice call on the song. It will be one of the Christmas songs playing around here today – we’re at Christmas Day already.

    Salute

Ah vP… We drove to my better half’s family on Saturday. One of the fee spots in Germany were you are always guarantied snow during the winter. There was still some snow left and the worst fog you can imagine for driving. Yesterday the temperatures rose to 10 degrees and it rained all day. So no snow left.

Glad you liked my musical choice!

Merry Christmas Burkhard! I hope you”ll enjoy yours surrounded by the ones you love best!

You picked one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite bands. Great minds, eh? I annoy my family with the Pogues on account of me singing along when I play it. And at just the right time today, I’ll queue this song up for all to enjoy. 🙂

Ah Monty, glad to have ruined your families Christmas with the Pogues! And it goes to prove, that even with a father loving this kind of music, the son can still turn into real talent! 😉

          Hi Monty,

no presents for me. We made a pact a couple of years ago not to give each other presents for Christmas to spare us all the December shopping madness and to be honest… I am quiet happy about that!

What do you think?
