Games wise, this year has been strange this year. I playe a bout a dozen games (everything from SAGA, over Star Wars: Armada and Battlegroup to Warzone) that I played, but did not take photos of and thus never posted. But there are also a few where I took photos. I think now is the time to at least post those. Ithaca been a while since they were played, so the details have become a little too fuzzy for game reports. Hope you enjoy them anyway!

I assume you’re the Bauhaus? I still sort of regret not getting the new WarZone. Well, Prodos took too long to get back to me after an email, and the $500 or so I had earmarked for WZ got spent elsewhere. They look great though. I especially like the urban tables.

Well, I have a Bauhaus army as my first army, but in these games I played Imperial.
It is s shame you did not start with Warzone (for whatever reason) since it is a good game. I guess should you ever have some questions about it again, you best come to me… I can tell you as much as anyone at Prodos.

It was literally a case of money burning a hole in my pocket. I emailed them about something (joining the KS afterwards, since I think I missed the closing time – I remember being dubious about base changes and the addition of cards) and going in big, but they took aaaaages to get back to me, and by the time they did, my $500 or whatever it was had gone to something else.
Maybe it’s for the best. The new models look much nicer than the originals, and if I didn’t have them in hand I’d probably never paint up my ’90s originals!

Those days communications were very hit and miss. These days they are better, at least when you know who to contact. But I can very well understand that this was a big letdown for you.
Regarding the models… It depends. If I look at my Bauhaus for example, I like the old KS era Vulkans and Juggernauts much better than the new ones. With the infantry the newer sculpts are nicer, but the old ones give you more freedom of assembly. Only in case of the Venusian Rangers do I feel that the new models are much better.
With some of the other factions, I feel it is the same. With other the models are the same, it is just that the n were models come in fewer parts and require less assembly.
Only in the case of Brotherhood are all of the newer models far superior to the old ones.

You really have some very impressive terrain setups for your games! Especially the first one with Bauhaus facing against Imperials really does look quite cinematic.

Thank you Samuli!
By now I am happy with the SciFi’ish layouts myself. Although there is still more to do. But the next year will see to that.

Really nice. Great report.
Ive allways loved the Imperials, its a shame this game never kicked of at my club. I think two members got some miniatures but never heard anything about it since then.

Yes, always loved the Imperials as well!
I know there is a fair number of WZR players in Sweden. Where about are you? Maybe I can fix something up for you!
